| Hi Pleiades netball club, I am trying to get back to playing netball after 6yrs away after having my second daughter, I have lost all my contacts and have searched the web to try and find a local medway club i found yours and I do remember your club.. Briefly I wonder if you could find any or pass on a contact for me to join the medway kent netball league. I played netbal for kent and southeast tournaments as a youngster and clubs in medway and sittingbourne after that for 15 years, the last club I played for was Sandhawks - Crambook in the maidstone league last in the top division and previously in my past played for barclay court in division one and lots of other teams and clubs in my past as WA - C - GD and all other position I was able to play all postions at a lower league... Briefly me now I havent managed to loose the extra weight from having a child late and havent played for 6 years so will be very unfit, I think as I loved netball and running I need the passion back to achieve to get back to my fitness and play again.. I am sure I have all the skills still just lack of fitness, I do not mind starting at the bottom to get back into the game which I loved all my life. I have contacted Sue Day but thought I would drop you all a note of apology. On behalf of New Edition please accept my apologies for cancelling the game 2morrow morning at such short notice. Some of our girls have gone on a netball tour to St Lucia despite this as of yesterday we were still able to field a team. However unfortunate circumstances resulted in a further loss of players today. The closely fought match of last week was really good and we were looking forward to playing you girls again ths week but to play competitively with a depleted squad would not benefit either club.
As advised to Sue the points quite rightly will be yours and we look forward to playing your team in future fixtures.

After living in Australia and New zealand for the last year where i have been playing both women's and mixed netball in a competitive / social capacity, I am back living in Camridge and looking to join a netball team to join. Please can you offer any advice on how i can do this? I play C or WA (or WD?)have played most of my life and was netball captain at both uni's that i went to (Cambridge and Liverpool). | i want to join a local club as i already play on saturdays and wednesdays but just for a social league so i have plenty of experience. i can play any postsion. i am looking for a senior league i am 14 years old and 5,6.i have a great attitude and i am very dedicated. i have been playing for 3 teams in thwe social league and i havent misseed one ggame and i have been playing for them for 3 years.i want to find out more about joining a club so please let me know if you are looking. thanks melissa |

| Hi! I am a keen 22 year old netball player. I have always played netball through school, college and some of Uni and am now wanting to get back into it now I am home. I recently set up my own team at Monk Hill but unfortunately due to lack of commitment by a few girls I couldnt afford to waste any money. I would be very grateful if you could let me know if it was possible to come down and train or if you had a space in your team for me! and maybe a few other friends. Hope to hear from you soon. Please can you offer any advice on how i can do this?

| Hi I am moving to the area in October and am looking for a netball team to join. I currently play for a mixed team in London (part of MNA if you know it) at a competitive/social level, if that makes sense. Guess I better leave some stats - 26yrs 5'8", prefered pos WA but anywhere except shooting works for me. Please get in touch if you are happy for me to come and play....thanks heaps! |
